What is Restylane?

Restylane products including Restylane, Restylane-L, Perlane, and Perlane-L create natural volume to eradicate deep facial wrinkles and folds within the face. Nasolabial folds are the lines starting at the corner of the nose ending at the corners of the mouth. By plumping up the volume of the face, these folds are ironed out seamlessly.

What can Restylane offer?

When treating nasolabial folds, a maximum of 6.0 mL should only be used. Lip volume treatment should be maximised to only 1.5 mL per lip, to ensure no extreme side effects take place. Further treatments should be booked if a greater volume of gel is required.

Restylane is the popular choice for enhancing lip volume, making them more beautiful to look at. The lip shape and volume plays a huge role in complementing the rest of the facial features. The lips are often the most striking part of any women's face and often the one feature people look at when you are talking to them.

What is in the box?

0,5 ml or 1ml syringe

What is NASHA or non animal stabilised Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a natural substance found inside the human body. It's key properties are to keep the skin hydrated whilst adding plumpness. HA naturally breaks down in the body during metabolism and is then replaced. However as we get older and our metabolism slows down, replacement of HA is less often which results in less hydrated skin and less volume in the skin.

HA has the unique special natural power to absorb water 1000 times its own weight. its appearance. It also allows other hormones and nutrients to integrate with the gel.

What side effects are associated with Restylane?

Bruising and swelling can be commonly associated especially at the site of injection. However these effects resolve within 2 days.

For patients under 36, swelling is more commonly reported, in contrast to bruising which has been reported in patients over 35.
